Contemporary wedding photography in Devon

The most important thing on your wedding day is to keep it stress-free, which is why my wedding photography style is very relaxed and informal – I am not bossy or controlling and I barely interrupt your wedding day to take forced or cheesy photos; just trust that I will be there where I need to be to capture those intimate, genuine moments. While I am predominantly a documentary photographer (I wander around and capture the special instants from your wedding as they happen) I do offer some more traditional, “mantlepiece” photos – although I am pretty good at getting these done quickly so you can enjoy your day! I will also take you away for a short couple’s shoot but I promise not to force you into any forced or uncomfortable poses. I just let you be yourselves! I think that it is important for your wedding photos to reflect you as a couple and what you mean to each other which is why I also offer a free pre-wedding photography shoot (with my full day package) so you can practise in front of the camera!

Pre-wedding consultation

Ahead of your wedding photography shoot in Bristol, I will meet you for a “no strings attached” consultation. This is a great way for you to get to know me and ask any questions you might have on my wedding photography, engagement shoots or other event photography requirements, so please get in touch if you would like to arrange a meeting to discuss what I can offer you for your special day.

After your wedding

I individually edit every wedding photo but my editing style is quite minimal and I try to keep the photos bright and lively images which will still look classic and modern when you look back at them on your 50th wedding anniversary! I also throw in a few black and white wedding photos as some are more suited to this style. I try to return your pictures as quickly as possible, as I know how eager you will be to see them (normally within 5-6 weeks). Your wedding photos will be made available in a private gallery online for you to look over and request any additional edits as required (perhaps additional black and white photos or minor touch-ups). Once you are 100% satisfied, I will send a USB of your finalised, edited wedding photos (around 500 shots for a full day) in high resolution and copyright free.

Flexible and affordable wedding photography

I prefer to tailor my wedding photography packages to suit exactly what you are looking for and I am always happy to try to adjust prices to find a compromise which works within your budget. Please get in touch to let me know what you have in mind for your wedding photography and if you have any questions about my photography services please give me a ring or drop me an email. I am happy to arrange a meeting so you can get to know me, as well!
